International Symposium - Science as a Tool for Innovation

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the International Symposium: Science as a Tool for Innovation, event that will be held virtually on September 27 th 2021, as part of the activities of the Pharmacy and Biochemistry Week of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences - University of São Paulo (FCF-USP). In the last years, we are facing a worldwide movement against science and financial resources for scientific development are getting scarce. On the other hand, the actual moment of Covid-19 pandemic shows us the importance of strong and well-based scientific policies to reach significant innovation and contribute to human wealth. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that the scientific community work together to strength science for innovation, as well as to improve our capabilities by sharing cutting-edge research. The meeting will bring together national and international leading scientists to present and discuss the latest discoveries and trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences and related areas. The event will count on lectures by renowned researchers working on themes related to the two main sections, namely “Innovation in drugs and therapies” and “Academic research and clinical translation”, as well as opportunities for students and young researchers to present and discuss their works.
